Olive Cheese Balls are a tasty appetizer that you can easily make in less than an hour with just five ingredients. They're crunchy, cheesy, salty and delicious!
Mix grated cheese, flour and cayenne pepper in a mixing bowl.
Add softened butter. Using your fingertips, press the ingredients against the bottom of the bowl to create the dough.
Separate the dough into 20 balls and place the balls onto a baking pan covered with a sheet of parchment paper.
Use your palm to press each ball flat. Place an olive on top of each flattened ball and then wrap the dough so that each olive is completely inside a dough ball.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the balls are golden brown.
Serve hot out of the oven.
Notes
You can prepare the olive cheese balls up to two hours before baking them.
You can freeze the baked olive cheese balls but be sure to wrap them in foil first. To reheat them, keep them wrapped in foil and bake at 350°F/180°D for about 15 minutes. Remove them from the foil immediately after taking them out of the oven.
