Mapo Tofu Recipe

Mapo Tofu is a legendary Sichuan dish.

We first ate the flavorful dish in Chengdu.

Then we started making Mapo Tofu at home.

The recipe is surprisingly easy....

if you have the right ingredients.

Many of the ingredients are basics in any Asian pantry.

You can buy them at your local Asian market. 

You'll want to cook this dish in a  carbon steel wok...

and serve it with rice.

Chopped scallions add the finishing touch.
