Yes, it’s the time of year to reminisce and plan for next year.  As the year ends, we present a look at our top five posts of 2013 based on popularity.

Top Five Posts 2013

5.  The French Laundry – Fabulous Food and Photos in Napa Valley (Published August 1, 2013)

We couldn’t help but change our California plans when we scored a reservation at the restaurant monument.  The meal was full of French Laundry standards like oysters and pearls, plus more.  It was definitely a meal to remember – great food and superior service.

4.  Talula’s Daily – Supper and Cheese in Philadelphia  (Published September 2, 2013)

Sometimes we don’t have to travel far to have great food.  Talula’s Daily is less than a mile from our house.  We love going to this spot for cheese and other goodies.  We need to go back for supper soon.

3.  Au Pied de Cochon – Thanksgiving Dinner in Montreal  (Published November 24, 2012)

Au Pied de Cochon is one of our favorite restaurants in the world, and it’s always a Montreal trip highlight.  On our fourth visit, we tried some new dishes as we celebrated Thanksgiving in our own way.

2.  Shopping on Tokyo’s Kappabashi Street  (Published May 28, 2013)

We loved browsing and knife shopping on this Tokyo street dedicated to all things for the kitchen.  Eight months later, our only regret is not buying more knives.

1.  Ramen Street – Tokyo’s Tastiest Indoor Street  (Published April 24, 2013)

Apparently we’re not the only ramen fans out there since this is our most popular post of the year.  While in Tokyo, we ate on Ramen Street twice.  Next time, we will certainly return for more delicious soup.

Hello 2014!

Will our new adventures and meals leave these posts in the dust? We can’t wait to find out as we continue exploring the world in 2014 and beyond!
